Compared to the campaigns against South Africa in a pre Internet era, the BDS movement attracts minimal public support. 2. The IL economy is far more diverse and resilient than that of SA 3. There is little public support or interest in BDS or the wider topic of IL Palestine amongst the largely indifferent public. 4. Last week end I was at Macy's in long Island Carl Place shopping mall. Soda Stream was in the bags of many people. In my humble opinion this BDS move against it boosted the sales and helped name recognition. I had not heard soda Stream before this boycott.
