They could both be right in a way and wrong in another way. Or, yes, for these reasons it's fitting and the other ways are not fitting for the overall objective of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness that is the objective and all the time, meditating on Holy Scriptures day and night and loving the Lord God with all your heart, mind, strength and spirit at the same time. Shas is right, there should not be this impasse and being of the religious community, answers contained in the Jewish Scriptures are meant to be instrumental in helping to solve governmental matters. There needs to be more discussions on this to find out sensitivities on the subject from each side and people are obligated to find people these answers. Shas is a major political party and peoples perception of Shas reflect on the whole religious community. If you break the law because it's not good enough, then change it. Otherwise, make every effort and help each other not to break the law. Shas isn't going to breakdown for this. This is just a simple misunderstanding.

Study and educate yourself

There is a thick-headed rejection of any information that does not come through an approved source amongst the Haredi community that would have revolted Rashi, the Rambam and the Vilna Gaon who managed to be men of world and devout at the same time. What Rabbi Cohen is advocating will only make Haredi women weak and vulnerable. Perhaps that is his intent?

GOD always gave women the power to be educated. Would today's Haredi community refuse education to Miriam - the sister of Moses. Jewish Women since the beginning always educated the children of Israel along with the Men. Shame on you Rabbi Cohen. The Women in Israel have Power through GOD and cannot go against was GOD has ordained.
