The U.S. State Department has been Arabist for a very long time. The current U.S. administration is headed by a Kenyan-born "president" who is not qualified for the presidency on the basis of his place of birth, and needed six shots at the bar exam before he could pass. Which he finally managed to do -- by one point. At a time when American law firms were desperate to diversify (i.e., hire minorities), Obama was passed over -- Harvard degree notwithstanding (well, he did graduate second from last in his class). Says a great deal. Also explains why he became a "community organizer" (i.e., rabble rouser), and why he aligned himself with the likes of Louis Farrakhan and the "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright.
