First and foremost -- you neglect to mention (how convenient!) -- that Judea and Samaria have always belonged to the Jews. The Kingdom of Judaea and the Kingdom of Israel were around long before the Greeks, Romans, Ottomans, the British and the Jordanians. In any event, possession being nine-tenths of the law, and Israel currently in possession ... the land belongs to us. And no one is going to "force" a settlement upon Israel, unless they are willing to back it up with force, in which case, Israel will blow up as much of the world as we can, and render whatever is left uninhabitable for the next one hundred thousand years. In Paragraph 1 the writer calls this an 'expropriation of Palestinian land'. Who does he work for, Ma'an? This is supposed to be a straight news story, and there's NOTHING to indicate in any way that this land, part of Gush Etzion is 'Palestinian' in any way. Pretty biased and unworthy stuff.
