Iran expressing concern for Israel's welfare. Truth is, Iran is taking a beating in Syria. As is its proxy, Hezbollah. They thought that the Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah terrorists could roll right over those arrayed against Assad in a week or so, and restore Assad to full and untrammeled power. Didn't happen, did it? And now Iran is experiencing its very own Vietnam. Except that in Vietnam, the United States could have ended it all rather quickly. They chose not to do that. Iran is trying, but it doesn't have what it takes to defeat even half-assed untrained irregulars. ISIS is not going to take on Israel; neither will the resistance elements in Syria. They'll be way too busy killing one another for rather a long while. Besides, ISIS is looking eastward and southward -- to Iran and to Saudi Arabia. That's really what gets their juices churning. Israel is not the United States, and the Syrian and Iraqi mess is not Vietnam. Israel would like to do something to help the Kurdish people -- no one else seems to care -- but if we have to destroy Syria and Iraq, we will. Iran, too, should the need arise. Israelis take Israel's survival very seriously. If we have to turn to using nonconventional weapons, we will.

President Assad was quoted as saying that he's ready for a new vision for Syria after he recently won a democratic election. We hope that this vision is one that relevant parties in Syria are open to discussing with the Syrian government. It does sound to be a much better alternative to the current state of warring that the countries finds itself in. How many people have died and how many people have been displaced? An insight to this new vision by Syria would be a welcome. Failure from other warring factions to respond to the Syrian government of this new vision proposal holds them in contempt. The loss of one more innocent life on the refusal of anyone to attempt discussions with the Syrian government to formulate a satisfactory result has blood on their hands and they are no martyrs, they are murderers and destined to hell fire, not paradise. Due to the fact that informal discussions can take weeks or even months for replies, set a time limit like 168 hours. Twenty-four of those hours can be for the day of rest. This makes 144 hours available to present your "demands"/ ideas. Then the Syrian government can respond with a counter-response. Hopefully then, it could be resolved. It sounds fair and simple enough. This un-civil war can not be of the religion of peace, Islam. Things in the Islamic world are on fire. You can blame a failure to communicate that has resulted in the deaths, maiming, and civil and human rights violations. People really need to learn to express themselves in words and civilized and stop resorting to armed conflict. We do still have hopes and prayers for world peace one day.

ladies and gentlemen: If anyone of us want to believe that U.S is not Israel, or Russia is not China, Iran is not Saudi Arabia, Turkey is not Germany etc, i have no problem with that, anyone is free to believe that his opinion is the most reasonable one. Western powers and foreign governments were incapable to encourage a coup against Assad when it was possible because Russia support to his government. But now every single politician around the world thinks it is not easy to fix the problem but anyhow everybody is joining the U.S. coalition against the so called "islamic state group" specially now that the Syrian war doesnt looks anymore a regime change just to topple Mr.Assad. Putin a supremely rational thinker when it comes to his own self interests, apparently , too busy or not with all the sanctions he received for invading Ukraine... as long that Syrian refugees fled to neighbore arab countries and not to Russia, ....a goverment that cooperated to built Iran's nuclear facilities. No doubt politics sucks!
