I agree with you about temple Mount. Dayan was mainly a socialist not realizing how out of control the pals are when given an inch they take a mile. Hesitate and your dead. In the case of temple Mount it seems to me that the pals will eventually become so violent that they will lose not only the 'right' to control the site but, will be forbidden to use it for any purpose but prayer.
