1. Which sane person would vote this loser again?
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.09.14)
Does this evil guy really think he'll win or that he'll ever be in the government again?
2. Let's pray they don't mess it up this time
Brian ,   Jerusalem   (12.09.14)
another Nethanyahu term is unbearable to think of, especially given who he is aligning himself with. Let's pray that the centre really do put egos aside and get their act together. Even better would be a coalition that really does represent the entire nation. It is the only way forward. Bibi does not and has never had the vision or the courage to pull the entire nation together. It has been precious time wasted with him.
3. according to one poll..
robert ,   antwerp   (12.09.14)
Netanyahu may succeed in his plan if he is ready to bow to the ult'ra orthodox demands. 21 likud +18 bait hayehudi+ 9 Israel beitenu +9 shas +7 degel hatora= 6 4 seats
4. with all due respect...
Joya ,   Israel   (12.09.14)
im sure israelis dont care about election polls, who is talking to who, or why Mr. X politician met Mr A or Mr Z for whatever reason anyone of them believe should the press, me or anyone else believe. Lets read about what leaders parties have to offer to promote the development of Israel in every field for the benefit of all. good?
5. #3 If Netanyahu is smart he will
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.09.14)
"bow" to the little demand of the ultra orthodox which is nothing more than money to yeshivot and to stop forcing haredim into this anti religious anti G-d army.
6. Livni is not a centrist. She is a Leftist "post Zionist"
Jake   (12.09.14)
Unlike Lapid, she is outright opposed to Jewish State legislation. Neither she nor Herzog can succeed in pulling the wool over the eyes of the Israeli voters and fool them into believing they represent a "centrist" agenda. They know it, which is why they are already preparing their next stunt: to court the anti-Zionist Arab and Communist parties in the Knesset. If that happens Lapid will take a running jump back into Bibi's arms. A stable center-right coalition can then be formed, without the Haredim. Netanyahu's #1 problem in the coalition has always been Tzipi Livni.
7. You better believe it, Chaim
Big Al ,   Zichron Yaacov   (12.09.14)
Its going to happen
8. A shift to the political Center is necessary.
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.09.14)
People are sick of old dogmas and want a new approach to solving the haunting problems of repeated warfare. Netanyahu is talking up an aggressive storm against Iran while promising his next government will be modeled on the ayatollahs. The majority of people in Israel cannot be cheated for long and are ready to support the fresh Centrist platform of Livni + Lapid + Herzog. However, the block of the Haredim, through their political shenanigans, is threatening to derail the Israeli democracy. Their goal is, as usual, to maximize welfare payments to themselves. Secular people in Israel should unite to prevent Haredim from usurping the Israeli economy. It will not be easy to accomplish.
9. Chaim - #1 - important to say who you're talking about.
michael redboun ,   Aveiro - Portugal   (12.09.14)
10. The Three Stooges of Israel belong together
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.09.14)
Herzog, Lapid and Livni belong together. They are all disastrous far left losers: the Three Stooges of Israel. None of them belong in government. The original Three Stooges; Larry, Moe and Curly, were less dumb and much less dangerous than these three infallibly wrong clowns.
11. #9 is the clueless one who keeps posting nonsense
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (12.09.14)
Jews for Jesus is one big krapola but you the intellectual midget are not expected to know or understand that.
12. 6 Chaim. Little demands?
robert ,   antwerp   (12.09.14)
First I would like you to retract the : "anti religious, anti God army" comment. My son and his friends are religious and went to the army of Israël, the Jewish state and were supported all the way. Try to use your brains and think for yourself: the state of Israël is a God given miracle and you must be blind if you don't see that everybody, including the orthodox community should contribute
