I live in France and what the foreign minister says is not true. Everywhere, there has been tremendous support for all victims, and the hashtags #jesuischarlie and #jesuisjuif are everywhere, often also #jesuispolicier. There are many problems in France that needs to be addressed urgently, and I'm very sad to say Jews do not feel safe here. But the last days have seen sympathy on a scale never seen before, and a person who flies in for a few hours and doesn't speak language is not fit to tell. Very sad indeed that the foreign minister feels he must bolster his failing support in the polls with unfounded attacks at a moment of national mourning for ALL victims. Shame on him.
2. antisemitism in France.

Kerry did not attend, Sarkozy, Holland and an Imam left the synagogue before Netanyahu spoke. France during WWII surrounded their Jews and separated children form their parents and send them all to the Nazi camps to be killed. What can you expect from them. They are the real CHICKENSHIT antisemitic heads. A demonstration and talk are cheap. ACTION is what is needed. FRANCE PROTECT YOUR JEWISH COMMUNITY!!!!!!!! French Jews: you must make aliyah to Israel, there is no other option. Jewish families cannot live afraid for their children in France.
3. If jews were making Aliyah on this scale then french would

be more wildly Spoken on the streets, Menus, signs and government documents. The majority see israel as a tax haven with great tax benefits of 10 years verses France's HIGH tax rates for everyone. They are more than welcome to do this, but we need to get over ourselves when we believe that people actually ALL stay in a third world expensive country like israel compared to the first world.

I agree but maybe I'm naive (?) enough to believe that if more Jews came, over time, things would improve I came, and left, and still wonder, after 27 years, if I didn't give it enough chance.....but Europe, IMHO, is no place for Jews these days. The French fell over themselves in getting rid of Jews during WWII, and I suspect nothing has changed....
5. and the scientific/ polling basis for this conclusion..?

how innapropriate is it for right wing Israel politicians to go to Paris at this moment and insult the French people and the french government? its not all about March 17th.

What he says is true. As long as just Jews are murdered little happens. The reason for this outpouring is because of what happened to the cartoonists. In a week or 2 it will all be forgotten. Later if only Jews are targeted little will happen.

Who cares what the former bouncer from Moldavia says, he would be best to stay at home and sort our the corruption that is sweeping his party.
