a very long time ago the BBC used to pride itself on being impartial and unbiased. If these men shoot up some cartoonists then they are gunmen and murderers . I don't care what a newspaper feels about them whether they feel they are ''scum terrorists'' or ''Islamic heroes'' or anything else. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say "two gentlemen happened to be in the neighborhood and happened on the office of the staff of a satirical newspaper in Paris. By the time they left the office, about a dozen people were dead." That would allow us not to read too much into the actual act, such as motives, etc. It's like saying that, as luck would have it, 6 million Jews were at the wrong place at the wrong time about 65-70 years ago - collateral damage?

What is the one common thread among Fatah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, ISIS, PFLP, and the terrorists responsible for the recent horrific events in France? They are all Moslems. Most are Arabs. It's eminently fair to generalize, when the specifics are virtually identical. I would never go so far as to say that "all Moslems are terrorists." It would NOT be incorrect to suggest that "virtually all terrorists are Moslem."

it's either terrorists or Islamists. One would think Islam would want to distinguish itself from the humans that do these things in it's name. I guess not. Wonder what heinous act Islamists will perpetrate next.
