From what I am hearing, many people simply are not aware that they need to know the symbols which appear on the ballot papers when they go to vote. I suggest that Ynet post an article that explains the need to all new voters AND post all of the symbols annotated with the names of the parties.

You're right. I took it from the JP. You can also look to wikipedia while writing down the name of the Israeli party (parties).
