ISIL says it is training boys as young as nine to be terrorists. How will that affect the status of boy soldiers? We Westerners try to minimise harm to women and children, but what if the children are trained terrorists carrying out terrorist activity? This issue is touched on in the academic work Torat HaMelech which was much criticised when it was published.
