1. Obama and Chamberlain

There are differences. Nazi German, in 1938, was a great military Power, so strong as United Kingdom and France. The U.S.can easily win and destroy Iran or any other country, except, perhaps, Russia and China. Israel is much more linked to America than was Czechoslovakia to the London and Paris. Israel, thanks God, has N bombs, and Iran won't dare to attack it, suffering terrible consequences. Obama is too worried about Sunni Islamic State, a big threat do all mankind, and, because of it, he wants Chia's support. At last, if Ayatollahs break the agreement, the sanctions will be established again.

It is self evident to many that because Obama is non-white the dogs of racism are out in force particularly in the comments sections and of course in Israel Hayom. Yemini, so sensitive to ethnic racism at home, should adhere to greater restraint of language, shmirat halashon. Obama may or may not be a smart practioner of foreign policy but the analogies with Munich are way off base. As Obama said yesterday, while there are policy differences with Bibi and his crew of demagoguic armchair hawks America will always have Israel's back. To think otherwise is dellusional, to say otherwise is a symptom of an Adelsonian political agenda that has nothing to do with Jews or Israel.

UN Charter Chapter I, Article 2: paragraph 1: "the organisation is based on the principle of sovereign equality of all its members." paragraph 3: "all members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means...." paragraph 4: "all members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state." iran has been waging war against several member states of the united nations, either directly or through proxy. iran has been threatening the physical and political existence of the state of israel for decades. iran has been waging wars by proxy against the state of israel and has been training, financing and arming these terror proxies, including hezbollah, hamas, islamic jihad. iran is therfore in continual violation of the UN Charter, international law and the laws of war. any agreement or treaty concluded with iran that does not demand an end to iran's criminal and illegal aggressions and threats of annihilation of other states is a clear violation of the UN Charter.

iran is in violation of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Article 3 of the Convention: "The following acts shall be punishable "c) direct and public incitement to commit genocide." iran has been inciting directly and publicly to the genocide of the people of israel. in the latest pronouncement iran stated that the "destruction of israel is non negotiable." it must be emphatically noted that the Convention explicitly and prominently, in its title, demand the Prevention of the Crime of Genocide. those leaders who refuse to demand that iran stop its incitement to genocide against the state of israel are themselves complicit in the incitement to genocide.

Chamberlain had no precedent to fall back on when dealing with fascists and acted in good faith. Obama does have the precedent of Munich,1948 yet has chosen to ignore it.He doesn't act in good faith and 'peace in our time' for western allies is the last thing he intends to achieve. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

We're seeing some kind of record in meaningless whining these days. I've lost of count of how many articles there has been lamenting the deal, and nothing else. They are all entirely without interest. We KNOW what the problem is. Now, do you have a SOLUTION? If not, hardly any point in restating the problem 50 times a week.
8. Bad faith article

When I am reading that kind of article, I don't know if I have to laugh or to cry for so much bad faith. Any person in its right mind except if he is a campaigner knows that you cannot compare the two countries or times. During the Munich agreement, Germany had already passed the Nuremberg laws, which is a bit more than being a 'dark country" as the authors candidly notes. Iran uses despicable rhetoric that no one in the country believes, they are far more concerned about the economy.. People are even forced to show up during these rubbish speeches. I remember when I was in school in Tehran, I even had to bear the stinking Islamic prayer namaz and vouzoo and the liturgies about Israel and the US even if I wasn't Muslim but please do not ridicule your readers by stating that Iran is Nazi Germany. It is fortunately factually wrong as of yet and I hope that it never become so. You are talking with the highest rate of education for women, not about Saudi arabia. Instead of those ridiculous comparisons, I would appreciate some articles about the people in iran, about the Jews in Iran, It is a pleasure of listening to Menashe Amir at kol Israel. One day perhaps, Iran would free itself of its Islamic regime but it is sad that if wouldn't be because your help, support or thought.

One major difference is that Israel has a nuclear arsenal as a deterrent. When Chamberlain appeased the Arabs and lowered Jewish immigration to Mandatory Palestine, the Jews were unarmed and unable to defend themselves. This was before the British set up the Jewish Brigade.

Dear Al, I know what is Iran. I was raised in Iran. The people are wonderful. BUT we have 20-30% of fanatics that took over my beloved country. They massacre now Sunnis in Iraq in Tikrit. Why do you ignore it? They will do it to Jews as they do it to other Muslims. If they can. The article is about the regime and not about the people.

Obama is INFINITELY worse than Chamberlain in many, many ways. Chamberlain was mistaken. But at least he was on Britain's side. The same can't be said of Obama. Obama seems to be on Iran's side. As the author notes, Iran openly threatens Israel with nuclear destruction. Germany was not so threatening, in Chamberlain's era. Chamberlain sincerely, though wrongly, believed his deal with Hitler brought "peace in our time". Obama just admitted his horrid deal would leave Iran in nuclear bomb breakout mode. One could go on and on in this vein...

The only real similarity is the expansionist aspirations of the Iranian regime and the Nazi regime. Iran needs to be stopped and the deal won't do that. The current containment policy is failing, at some point a war is enivatible....

Barak Obama is sort of a PIONEER, being the first black american president. Most israelis are very efficiently brainwashed with racism coming out of Likud headquarters, mostly from nyahUUuu, Bennett, Liberman and radical jewish supremacists settlers. Barak Obama is a Good President for american people. And he is a good american president for israel. He is way better than Bush family. BUT, unfortunately what he is doing delusionaly to Russia, and creating a fascist regime in Ukraine, I'd put him as the worst president.
