1. Soldiers receive a Bible book. What do they need it for?
Dror   (04.23.15)
What use will they have from it? Isn't it a waste of money and closet space? It's not as if they'll be learning from it or following any laws mentioned in the Bible or anything like that?
2. Every soldier keeps the Tnach
Ani   (04.26.15)
that he received from Tzahal, for the rest of his life. It's in every bookcase, on every shelf. He/She knows it's there. Eternal, everlasting just like us.
3. Recently, I gave two children being raised by their grandma
Rivkah   (04.26.15)
the Holy Names Bible for each one. Astonishingly, on the next visit to that home, the EIGHT year old boy, Seth Hanse, corrected me in the pronunciation of the Father YHWH's name! How wonderful when children take an interest in what is holy. This little illegitimate boy's mother has brain damage and cannot raise him and his biological father is in prison. From the ashes of despair, the grandmother raised two children to love Elohim and His Word. Like Gideon and others who rose above the circumstances of their birth, Seth Hanse is a shining star to Elohim at the young age of 8.
4. 1 Dror: There are no atheists in foxholes, as the saying
Rivkah   (04.26.15)
goes. When one's only hope is to live another day since there is no guarantee of more than that in the military in conflicts, having the comfort of the Creator's words is a great comfort indeed.
