Zechariah   (04.27.15)
A feeling of an inherent Justice that The Israeli Jews accepted an inherent Justice the Sharing by Partition of the Holy Land to save millions of Jews but many in Islam and many other antiJews and Money Greedy Oil Capitalists violently Rejected the Peace option .Conquests occurred and displacement refugees but the Jews though guilty of some cruel and lethal witness the original Arabs from 1947 then one million are now ten million . Before Futher negotiations the Jews have to be compensated their catastrophic People losses .
2. Peoples who have been persecuted to the point of attempted
Rivkah   (04.27.15)
genocide reap a reward for generations that follow and the reward is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Father Creator) so that the descendants are blessed with a charisma that they can use for evil or for good. It is a sort of magnetism that enables them to endure more serenely.
3. Israeli longevity
David Franklin ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (04.27.15)
I must disagree with the reasons given by the 'experts' for Israeli longevity. We are a nation of immigrants. Those that died young before they got here are not included in our statistics that are therefore skewed towards an older average age at death.
4. Lovely article . . .
nibor ,   israel   (04.28.15)
Now let's take off the pink glasses. It's true we have the systems in place, unlike in America. But I can't allow our government service workers, especially social security, to feel too good. There are too many people who have received letters saying their loved ones do not qualify to have a caretaker take care of them, a week after their loved one died. There are too many people under fifty dying, too many from cancer. There are people who don't get checkups like they should because frankly dealing with our "wonderful" medical system is exhausting, and sometimes we become sicker than we were in the first place after dealing with it. I do agree with Israeli family cohesion and warmth. There's nothing like it. Sometimes it can even be a little much, but it is available, and people are open and friendly, and not falsely polite as in other countries. We are open to innovations and new ideas, and this adds to our resiliency as a people. We recognize our faults and always try to improve. So the beginning of your article is good, but you lose it in inaccuracies in the end.
5. Israeli's Longevity
Reb Moish ,   Katzrin, Israel   (07.09.15)
200 years ago when life expectancy was 34 for males, Jews lived through their 70's and more, despite abject poverty, constant pogroms. How do we understand that? In the Talmud it's written - Yisrael MiLemaalah Min HaTeva - Israel is not limited by the rules of nature. It is another awesome blessing to out People from Heaven. And Heaven's blessings are always Infinitely greater than science's understanding.
6. #5 No milk and meat for the majority
Charles ,   FR   (07.12.15)
Milk and its proteins are lining the walls of the stomach. This is what you take for a heart burn (dyspepsia). However consuming a steak with a glass of milk is preventing the acids from breaking down the steak. The meat will rot at body temperature and you get toxins instead of nutrients. Over a lifetime it amounts to 10-15 years less to live.
7. No Meat with Milk
Alla   (12.31.19)
The commentator meant no mixing meat with milk, because they require different digestive acids.
