1. The guy took the state for a ride!
David ,   Hartford USA   (05.09.15)
This guy murders his parents, breaking multiple commandments at once (so much for following the Torah!), but then he suddenly DOES follow the kosher laws!!! Eating a kosher hotdog is more important than not killing your parents??? The guy is a douchebag, has filed a frivolous claim, and should be force-fed ham and eggs for every meal for the rest of his life. Kosher or Halal food should not be served in prison. You break the law, you eat what the state serves you or you go hungry. The state has no reason to allow any prisoner to follow their dietary preferences. You did the crime, now eat the slime.
2. Special food because of medical reasons must not suffer!

Otherwise the verdict could have bad consequences for those with diseases who need expensive food.
3. This is insane. More potus confusion.

No valid comparison. He could eat the vegan or vegetarian food - cheaper and easier. Why take consideration of this parent killer when he certainly did not take consideration of his parents? One might ask if he kept kosher before he stopped keeping two of the 10 commandments. Many prisoners suddenly become kosher-keepers to gain attention and make trouble. I hope that prison justice catches up with him. I agree with #1.
