1. Even Netanyahu has his price for shutting up
Michael ,   Haifa   (05.21.15)
2. Obama
Ed ,   USA   (05.20.15)
And you posters on Ynet have been railing about Obama not being a friend of Israel .... this ought to shut you up.
3. A good choice and investment.....
Koose E Mack ,   NY US   (05.20.15)
Seeing that Israel has the West's interests at heart, the Obama Administration finally woke up.
4. None of these "bunker busters"
Stephen in New York   (05.20.15)
can affect the deep, deep underground Iranian nuclear infrastructure.
5. "The colossal weapons deal..."
Cameron ,   USA   (05.20.15)
The best laid out on a silver platter. The most generous of patrons. What more could an Israeli reasonably ask for?
6. Good News
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (05.20.15)
as long as the Israeli tax payer foot the bill and not the American tax payer I am kool with that. Israel is a very wealth country that can afford to pay for it's own defense. The US is a poor nation with a massive budget deficit that needs to fund it's own military.
7. Not massive by middle east standars
EZEKIAL HAIM ,   LONDON UK   (05.20.15)
Why does Ron describe 3000 Hellfire missiles as massive when Hezbullah has a reported 100,000 rockets.I think Israel needs 200,000 missiles, rockets and bombs to act as a deterrent against its enemies .If the USA will supply that ,I would then call that massive.

War is such a great money maker, and since money has no odor..... everybody sells and buys and kills and maims.... but, not important as long as the war lords are getting richer and richer. If millions of innocent children are killed - so what!! - it's not their kids. right !!!!. Israel is just a business country, just like the others and lovesssss money!!
9. Restocking?
Robert ,   Australia   (05.21.15)
This must mean Israel used its old stock of bunker busters on Gazan homes, schools, mosques and UN sanctuaries. The US should be ashamed.
10. Blackmail...Israel style
James   (05.21.15)
Sadly, Israel has the president of the most powerful nation on Earth by the balls. Smh.
11. Encourage Iran to toe the line
DemocracyRules ,   Canada   (05.21.15)
Helping Israel helps discourage Iran. The 30,000 lb MOP bunker buster is not on the list. But don't discount the value of the 5,000 pound bunker buster, because it's so accurate, a second one could hit the same spot, to make the hole deeper. In a pinch, Israel could consider small, low-yield, low-radioactivity nukes for bunker-busting. Various types have been around since the 60s, and are great for bunker-busting (e.g., Davy Crockett tactical nuke). The Davy Crockett is about the size of a watermelon and weighs less than 100 lbs. It would make some short-term and localized radioactivity, but that's what Iran's nuke plants are already doing.

Actually the global incidence and prevalence of war is declining. It's associated with tyrannies, not democracies like Israel. "War is a terrible thing, but it is not the worst of all things." ~ John Stewart Mill

15. Obama is trying to buy Netanyahu's silence
CJK   (05.21.15)
obama's entire foreign policy is based on manipulations, extortion and blackmail. the sale of these weapons has for aim to silence netanyahu's legitimate criticisms of obama's flim flam deal with iran. al arabiya reports that obama has promised the gulf states that the us would come to their aid in case of beed. this promise is neither serious nor even an agreement. in the meantime, all of obama's decisions have been disasterous, leading to failed states and human catastrophies.

Israel needs these weapons for survival. Save your lecture for the Palestinians who use children as human shields while firing missiles at Israel. Then they parade their fatalities in front of the camera for your entertainment.

Are you taking the piss?
18. # 6 Yes, good news
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!   (05.21.15)
Israel isn't rich she's spending most of her limited budget to fight pal terror and, America is broke thanks to obama the 'spending like a drunken sailor' who'll leave office having done more damage to America than just bankrupting her. One truth, after obama the Arab is gone, watch America slowly recover from obama's idiocy and obvious anti semitic bigoted positions. That can't come quickly enough. KEEP BUILDING !!!

Love watermelon and love Israel.obama knew he had no choice as he's giving away the farm, giving it to Iran. So, maybe Israel can take it back?

Those clever Jews can 'make do' and what's to stop them from augmenting the buster bombs into 'huge buster bombs?" If I were you, I wouldn't bet against Israel. G-d chose her for a reason.

23.  "sale to isreal"
American Taaxpayer   (05.21.15)
is just a "cover your ass" ploy by congress. It will be gifts from the American taxpayer, that congress will receive in exchange "gifts" from AIPAC, israel and jewish lobby. Here how it works: (1) congress will reduce the price by declaring the material surplus, (2) congress will give israel a loan to "buy" the material. (3) congress will voted to give israel a grant (read GIFT) from Economic Support Funds . (4) congress will renew the Cranston Amendment. This above and beyond the Military Aid. The Cranston Amendment guaranteeing that the amount of Economic Support Funds going to Israel will not fall below the amount of money needed by Israel to repay its loans from the United States government has led to some interesting justifications for continued ESF economic assistance. Lobbyists for Israel and their sympathizers in Washington argue that current ESF grants really don't cost American taxpayers anything. They maintain that providing U.S. taxpayer funds to Israel to pay off debts owed to the U.S. government simply moves money around without actually giving it to Israel. Anyone who has ever borrowed money from a bank or used a credit card knows that this is nonsense. Two decades ago the U.S. government borrowed money to lend to Israel on the assumption that the Israelis would pay it back and the U.S. then could use the repayments to repay its own debts. Now the U.S. government continues to pay interest on the money it originally borrowed to lend to Israel, and also pays the interest on the money Israel borrowed from the U.S
24. Israel will be the world's excuse
US citizen ,   US   (05.21.15)
no matter what Israel does. These munitions are nothing but an attempt to facilitate the blaming. Better to reverse engineer and develop dependable ordinance before use. I trust the true and living One, not humans.
