Actually, Bloomberg is wrong. The shekel is too high. The Israeli prices are expensive in dollars. 20-25% devaluation would be justified. This would drive up the prices of the imported products as a negative effect. So the devaluation should be stretched out for 2-3 years.

All currencies have their ups and downs. Right now the Shekel is to strong largely because of the Euro. The economy has slowed as a result of trading partners buying less but its still growing and unemployment is lower than its been in a very long time so the Shekel in time will find a competitive level eventually but the idea its the worlds worst currency is nonsense.
