Israel can repair any damage Hamas might cause, but the payback to Gaza would be biblical: fire from the sky until nothing was left. But hey, maybe Hamas wants to live in the stone age, just like its ISIS brothers.
And Abbas wonders why the world donors who promised billions of dollars to rebuild Gaza haven't delivered their checks!! Because they don't want to throw their money down the drain, Mr. Abbas. Your 'partner' is even more pathological than the PA, and the world knows it.
If it hasn't occurred to you, let me spell it out: the world doesn't care about Gaza or 'Palestine.' If either cause trouble, Israel will handle it. The world will whine about it, but that's just for show: nobody cares.
If you had half a brain, maybe even a quarter of a brain, you would sit down with Netanyahu tomorrow and simply say, "Enough. Let's make peace today."
But you are not man enough to do that. You like the trappings of power, the ability to enrich yourself and your friends. The world sees you as a petty tyrant, not willing to lead your people to peace, and that's why we ignore you.
Hamas is just you with your mask off. Too bad you were never the leader we all hoped you would be. You're just another Arafat in nicer clothes, nothing more. The world has moved on. 'Palestine' is so 10 minutes ago.
