Yes, most Russian tourists will not be able to pay the extreme rip off prices charged by Israeli hotels. Inoperative a/c, broken fridges, dirty linen, torn carpets, congested dining rooms, small pools, limited pool access & zillion other issues - all delivered by so-called "5 star" hotels. The only thing that is genuinely 5 star are the prices.

Russians are being murdered in every single Arab country that they vacation in for the crime of not being a Muslim. Israel is their only warm safe place to vacation. But as long as Turkey is harmed - it's all to the good.

Israel has many interesting areas and good climate for Russians to visit, in particular the Dead Sea, Eilat and the Mediterranean. But I agree with Tomer, the resorts are overpriced, the staff indifferent often bordering on rude, and the facilities are not maintained. I also noticed the pool hours too restrictive. They need to set up hospitality schools for hotel staff.

beg to differ with you. Stayed at the JP two years ago, and it was very disappointing. And I worked there a bit at the start of my hotel career in the late 70's, when it was a true five star. Now, MAYBE a four, or a 3.5... And the mid Summer occupancy showed it. It was a ghost town...stayed thst same trip in another property of the same chain, in TA. also major disappointment, with sewage smells in the hallway, mediocre room, terrible staff at the Desk, but,...great breakfast. Again, 3 stars masquerading as 5

really how difficult is it to put together an all inclusive hotel? Is it because the money-hungry hoteliers are used to overcharging us for nothing? After all why work to please your guests when you can weasel their money right out of their pockets. I live in Israel, I don't vacation here because it is cheaper to fly elsewhere, rent a car, stay at a 5 star hotel, and eat very well indeed for 1/2 of the price that it costs to do the same in Israel.
