1. The Temple Mount is ours. Period.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.09.16)
Jews must claim the Temple Mount, in the same spirit as Muslims claim Mecca and Catholics claim Vatican City. It is ours. Period.
2. Calm down! Bad Idea!
es-real   (07.09.16)
The bad people behind the weaponization of Muslim Arab people should be the primary target.

Praying in a volatile place is not the right strategy.

Demonstrate on the Red Square now!
3. We all know(Arabs included) that Islam shall meet sorry end,
(07.09.16)
so it is only a question of time, before this abomination of biblical proportions, namely: denying Jews rights to the holiest of places by a Jewish government will also come to an end. In the meantime the impotent politicos will play their game....at our expense.
4. how many deaths after his visit ? 10, 100,1000,...?
dan ,   paris   (07.09.16)
There is a political agreement with Jordan that praying on Temple Mount is forbidden. This person uses her grief to light a match in a field of explosives.
Very strange people indeed.
5. Isn't the temple mount the most holy site in Judaism?
tiki ,   Belgium   (07.09.16)
If it is (and under Israeli control) than why aren't Jews allowed there when they want and need special permission?

If it isn't than say so and give it back to the Muslims who claim it to be their (only) 3rd. holy place but are willing to fight/defend it.

To Israel it apparently doesn't mean anything so stop making empty statements about the importance to Judaism and climb down from the mountain.

Decide.
6. Fanaticism unleashed
ggg   (07.09.16)
With every respect to the tragedy for this couple, and the unfortunate fact that grief can drive certain people to breaking point, there is something not right in this woman's behavior. From the start she couldn't stop grabbing microphones and drawing attention to herself. She has been over-keen to be in front of cameras.
This is not about her, or about this sudden need - not just to pray but to use a site she knows is a tinderbox - it is about the loss of a 13 year old girl who never get the opportunity to see the world as she would have wanted it.

there is something not quite "together" here, and this inflammatory request needs to be taken in that context. Most of the ordinary folk of Israel are not in favor of putting the rest of the population - and our soldiers - at risk because personal prayer is not enough for someone whose idea of grief is to bring herself into the limelight. Sorry if some see this as harsh, but I know a disordered person when I see one.
7. if bibi indicted
marv   (07.09.16)
if bibi were indicted or forced to resign because of legal problems attached to him or his famly like rabin, the last party to head up israel would be zionist union, a collection of cowards and misfits to the left of meretz, as yechaimovitch pointed out, herzog has no leadership skills, peretz is an ignoramus in all matters related to security and margalit just knows how to yell.

any jew would be ashamed to have herzog represent him, this party is headed to 8 votes or less in the next election.

and if israelis egged on by the media are dumb enoough to vote for herzog, the state of israelis is finished. you might as well pack up and head to warsaw.
