2. Too bad Al Sisti didn't order the team to act like sportsmen

Considering how shabby el shehaby's performance was, he could only make points at home by acting like a schmuck to Sasson. But the rest of the world expects sportsman-like conduct and extrapolates that if Egypt's 'best' behaves like a rotten sport, then the rest of the people behave the same way. This reinforces the negative view everyone has about Egyptians, so why would ANY westerner want to visit the country?
Tourism? What a joke! Egyptians burn down churches and terrorize their Christian fellow citizens, but the police and government turn a blind eye to it. (So does the Pope.)
If Egypt wants a tourism industry, then Al Sisti must lay down the law and instruct every athlete, every citizen, to act like decent people. It's bad enough that ISIS runs wild in the Sinai, but do the Egyptians themselves have to behave like anti-social infidel-hating idiots? Al Sisti should ORDER this athlete to apologize to the Israeli in public and shake his hand. The audience showed their disdain for El Shehaby and, believe me, it paints Egypt in the same light.
