with Egypt reflects only the desire of its leaderships, but not of its people ? al-Sisi's speech in the U.N. refutes this argument. The Egyptian president appeals only to Israel, thus blaming only it for not settling the conflict with the Pals.

He cites the "wonderful" peace example between Israel and his country, ignoring the wide buffer zone which separates them and strictly monitored, namely the Sinai peninsula, a shield which could not be established between Israel and a full-fledged Palestinian state.

funny to think that moses/akenaten and the hebrews were egyptian once upon a time,i guess the modern day israelites have rewritten their egyptian, ethiopian.heritage.

Middle eastern leaders often refer to peace as if it exists or can be forged in a vacuum or thrust upon the Arab pals by the Israelis. It's a two way street with two willing parties interested more in their respective futures and the well being of their peoples than hate. That cannot be said of the Arab pals at this moment in time as it was the reason for success of the Israel Egypt and Israel Jordan accords and the reason why Israel Palestinian talks have always failed. Israel has a track record of such commitment to peace , Arab Palestinians do not
