more israelis should strive to be like this man-he saw something, he went after it. he also knew some martial skills. so all civilian israelis should train, and be read to help neutralize attackers.

israel has been frustrated for about 13 years with the anemic leadership of olmert and livni, then bibi and barak doing the minimal bandaid stop measures. in particular , olmert perez halutz and livni were disasters as israel was a punching bag offering concessiions that had arabs laughing riotously.

bibi has also been anemic as shapira reported properly in the gaza campaign as he and yaalon were passive in dealing with tunnels until bennett, yes bennnett forced the issue. recall yaalon chastized him for going in the field and speaking with rank and file to find out what the hell was going on. many israelis could have been killed if the tunnels had not been destroyed. bibi aided by livni and lapid and yaalon overruled bennett and lieberman much of the time. only at the end were tunnels dealt with. so lapid was a disaster in security. the public should not forget it in the next election. lapid would divide jeruslam, withdraw from parts of judea and samaria and hamas would dig in there.it would be just like olmert's time- a disaster.

vote for bennett and make him pm. bibi will suffer losses less than 20 seats if he runs again with the police investigations on top of him. likud would do well to work a deal with bennnett making him pm. area c would then be annexed and to hell with macron of france with his give peace a chancce. israel has bled for 23 years with the rotten oslo foisted on i srael by the same types as macron-give peacce a chance-peres, beilin, pundak. lots of israelis died because of oslo. ok we tried it and now forget it. try other approaches.

Not like America, still strict rules and background checks but any Jew should be allowed to posses one because this guy has proven that ordinary people in Israel get involved and the government encourages people to jump in and try to help stop it because the police cannot be everywhere at the same time.
