1. "immigration" does NOT mean "infiltration" ...
Moshe Israel ,   Tivon, Israel   (02.09.18)

secret night time infiltration through security defences, hiding from detection by the IDF, defending against a ISIS , pal terrorists, etc.

2. At LAST! Some commonsense from a journalist!
SM ,   In the West   (02.09.18)
Can we have some more?
3. Justifying z deportation.
Tekle ,   Tel aviv   (02.09.18)
And all the countries mentioned above accept genuine refugees( eritrea and sudan), I never saw any country deporting these refugees. The thesis is justifying the deportation plan.
4. Enough! They must be deported
Phoenix   (02.08.18)
All of them must go! Abusive intruders! Here is israel not Africa!
5. Good articale about security first
DOV ,   USA   (02.09.18)
There is no doubt in my mind that the Israeli goverment treats migrants justly. It's to bad their homelands are not capable of supporting their citizens. You have to ask yourself wether or not in the long term that it would be to everyones advantage to invest in globalization. We should keep our cultural differences in a peaceful and prosperous way.
6. How about asking Rwanda to take in the unhappy Blacks in the
Rivkah   (02.09.18)
USA, too?
7. SOMETIMES:
CAPTAIN REALITY ,   SAFED HONESTY   (02.09.18)
Sometimes in life ,we have to be realistic and face reality. The reality here is that Israel is a home and refuge for the Jewish people, not for other peoples. That may not be " fashionable" nor " politically correct" but this is the only way ,that is if Israel wishes to survive.
8. Of course there isn't, but tell it to a politruk!!!?

9. israel needs workers
(02.09.18)
lets face it,the personal and collective salvation we aspire to is at
odds with our fellow stranger,
10. immigration:Immigration
robert saunders ,   Pueblo   (02.09.18)
When immigrants come to your coutry for refuge or for economic prosperity it initially begins with an outpouring of that country's wealth to help the immigrant get, "up to speed".

When immigrants come with no intention of beconing aligned with the country's economy which outpours then there is a negative drain which endangers the country accepting the immigrants.

So which is it with these Africans?
11. Agreed
James Jameson ,   america   (02.09.18)
Now if only ynet would apply to this standard to america's immigration policy instead of calling trump an evil racist
12. The writer has a point.
Larry Jacob ,   Carmiel   (02.09.18)
It is one thing to help people in need, and to allow foreigners to stay for temporary employment. It is another to limitlessly let people in for an indefinite period, without attempting to foresee the consequences. Tough immigration policies therefore seem to be the only answer.
13. illegal migrants
Michael ,   Raanana   (02.09.18)
All illegal migrants, Africans included must be repatriated to their countries of origin.
Their leftist supporters to be deported with the illegals.
The leftist can remove themselves to Africa and help the illegals in Africa.
In the interim all illegal African migrants to be housed in the Knesset, the High Court, Ramat Aviv, Rehavia and Savyon.
14. One Sided Migration
Disillusioned   (02.09.18)
At the time all the biblical sayings related to a primarily nomadic way of life People moved from place to place in search of food and water, and this was mainly related to climatic conditions. So it was one year here, another year there, often returning to the same areas they started in if the conditions were better at the time.

What we have now is an entire dysfunctional continent - hundreds of millions of people - seeing salvation only by heading for the world's most prosperous countries. But even those prosperous countries are now struggling with a new reality:

The same science that makes us prosperous is the science that allows more of us to live longer, and has caused a burgeonng of population numbers that are no longer sustainable, particularly in the face of increased automation that is rendering the human being more redundant.

There are already millions in the west who are almost permanently unemployed, and the only way they survive is through welfare systems paid for by ensuing generations, who are headed for the same problem, only worse.

In 20 years time, it is estimated that at least a third of jobs will be lost and not all those people will be re-employed or re-employable. Only the most technologically skilled will be able to work with new technologies.

At the same time, millions of unskilled, backward people are pouring into countries that they believe will help and support them - whether or not they have any skills. Most unskilled labour is opportunistic, and there will simply not be enough of it to go around.

We are therefore importing a serious problem by allowing free - and usually illegal - migration. Europe is already lost. Cities have become ungovernable because of the cultural differences of people who arrive wanting to take what they can but give nothing back. If we don't want this to start happening here, we have stop the self-flagellation over "we were once migrants" and get to grips with the simple fact that for as long as people can't migrate to Africa - which was once a feasible and desirable possibility, but that was in the "terrible colonial era" when, strangely enough, those countries were financially much, much sounder until independence and the emergence of corrupt and vicious rulers - we cannot allow any more one-sided migration without imposing an unworkable burden on our own citizens.
15. Israel must accept ONLY legal meritorious immigrants
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.09.18)
Israel was founded as the Jewish Homeland. This fact must govern all Israel's immigration policies. Beyond that, Israel must accept ONLY legal and meritorious immigrants. The illegals must go. Period.
16. Integrste them.
Win ,   Queens   (02.10.18)
Yes there is something wrong. Expulsion is a concept repugnant to Jewish social norms. The present numbers are not a demographic threat.
17. I like the Africans and would love to be able to help them..
Shachar ,   Eilat   (02.11.18)
But Israel is a tiny, heavily over-populated country which already takes in every Jewish refugee or Zionist. We can do nothing helpfful with the tragedy of Africa and our Arab neighbors. Egypt's population grows by one million every 6 months, Nigeria's population grows by one million every 3 months.and no country can take in refugees at the rate they are being produced. A country that wants to survive is going to need tougher immigration laws and border control than exist today anywhere in the world.
