assad has fought a 7-year civil war against syrian rebels, who have no aircraft. even obama's 60-country coalition was very careful not to engage syrian government, or russian, planes over syria. which means they have enjoyed almost complete air superiority with no need for a massive antiaircraft system.

except for the iranians. in order to protect their new supply lines via iraq and syria to hezbollah, they need to protect themselves from israeli air strikes. and they're the ones who have the money, thanks to obama, to buy the latest russian-made missiles.

instead of playing with the snake's tail, in lebanon or syria, it's time to deal with the head. and that head is in tehran.

Instead of bashing each other Israel and Syria should live as neighbors, after all the mothers of Israel are Syrians.
