You have no idea what happened during the war in Poland. There were 3,000,000 Jews killed there, but also 3,000,000 Poles

How you avoided to name the nationality of the Polish partisans who rescued your mother, to whom she owed her life.

Morawiecki said that speaking about the journalist's story would not be punished, because there were Polish perpetrators as well as Jewish, Ukrainian and other perpetrators. Morawiecki explained that the legislation punishes blaming Poland for German crimes. Poland had suffered under a campaign of slander for decades, hence the necessity of the legislation.

I am Polish and I am glad that you have asked this question to the Polish PM. I don't really know or understand why the government in Poland felt it was ok to bring this stuff up at this moment in time. One thing I would like to possibly clarify - if your mum and her family were sheltered by partisans (in Poland I presume, where they lived before the war), then I would strongly believe that these partisans were mainly Polish as well. And this just goes to show how vastly different approaches you could found during this horrible time. Poles denounced her but Poles also helped her.

Thank you Polish Prime Minister! Finally a politician speaks openly about Jewish "contribution" to the WWII and the Holocaust of their own people. I just wish more politician had a courage like the Polish PM to speak about real history - not the history reshaped by Israel and powerful American Jewish Organizations...
