Only the wealthy elites are making big money from constant war, and Israelis are getting poorer as the country is going down. What is there to fight for if the air, land and waters are all polluted? On the Global Peace Index for 2017 Israel is 144th place for peaceful living while the US is in 114th place. But Canada is in 8th place for peaceful living, and Germany is in 16th place. You cannot have a good quality of life if you don‘t have peace. The Torah says that all the ways of the Torah are the ways that lead to peace, not war.

"The enemy will launch thousands of rockets daily at population centers. In such a multi-front war, we will draft the entirety of the Ground Forces, including territorial reserve battalions from the Judea and Samaria Division and the Sinai border." The consequence of Barak's running away from South Lebanon in 2000. Which encouraged Arafat to launch the Second Intifada as well as putting millions of Israelis at the mercy of Hizbullah rockets. And which will exact hundreds, maybe thousands, of IDF casualties whenever war with Hizbullah resumes. That Barak dares even to open his mouth today, let alone thunder on accusing the current government of endangering Israel's security, is a nauseous impudence.
