8. Israel, your name shall be a blessing till eternity
we pray for your salvation and for the peace of beloved jerusalem.
the laws of moses we shall keep as our sacred inheritance, a gift
to the nations of the world.
without the laws of moses, which subsume the commendments,
we are naught.
even in our darkest hours the most holy one was in our midst,
the nazi beast commanding that jewish children whose name
was too aryan had to use "israel" as their name.
thhhe germans failed to see the irony.
the obsession with the jews of the germans led to horrific
acts of cruelty and barbarism.
yet israel was liberated from her occupiers, her name once
again proudly displayed for all to see.
for seventy years this tiny, proud country, has been fighting
for her survival as a jewish state.
for seventy years, israel of g-d has repulsed enemies from
within and from without.
jews can be defeated by other jews. the jews who follow the
secular g-d of materialism or globalism, the jews who choose
assimilation and the jews who forget the meaning of the
ancestral land are bound to disappear by their own hands
in the near future.
yet israel remains a refuge for the jewish nation.
it is only in israel that jews have an army,jewish weapons,
jewish intelligence agencies.
it is to the combined forces of tzahal that israel owes her
existence.
today, the nations once again are plotting against tiny
israel. they will never understand that israel is their shield.
they will never understand that thhe g-d of israel, going back three
thousand years, gave the world conscience and the commendments.
let them fret and plot. the most holy one is our shield and sword.
