israel does not seek war but will obliterate iran if it comes to it. and it could blunt alot of terror except for international pressure and leaders like olmert and bibi who did not have nerve, and flinched at the sight of dead and broken bodies. not so with lieberman. the media despises him, the tel aviv snobs dismiss him but his value to israel is big-he does not flinch under pressure, is steady, and looks at the battlefiedl with a dry eye. while some of political moves are cynical and he cannot be totally trusted with his john kerry immitation, he shows much greater strength than most of likud. he is far stronger than bibi who talks but does not do and flinches under pressure. adversaries know it.

liebrman in fact is tougher than some of israel's generals whose oslo preachings are useless.

when bibi steps down, bennett is israel's natural leader, far above anyone else. i would leave lieberman at defense and bring in galant as his deputy.

can you imgine herzog or gabbay or livni or lapid taking on iran, syria, hezbollah and hamas? Don't make me laugh? they would be runnning to macron and eu to seek accomodation in return for making concessions to gaza protesters.

lapid already showed he k nows nothing about security by his siding with gantz and yaalon during hte gaza war with bibi. they were all and by extension lapid criticized by shapira in his report.
