Here is Israeli logic that always risks their own lives:
1. Because it did not happen before, "We had no idea this could or would happen!"

2. "Our military is the best. When it comes to security, we are the best."

Former PM and Ramatkal, Yitzhak Rabin had another, correct way of expressing this: "The it will be okay mantra in Israel is incompatible with IDF values." And this problem persists!
