In February 2015 Senator Ted Cruz was the guest of honor at a gathering of Arab Christians in US on the subject of their brothers condition in the region.
In the middle of the speech he mentioned that Israel is the only Mideast country respecting the rights of Christians and protects them.
Most of the Arab Christian audience began booing him.
Cruz deviate from his written speech saying:
"If you are not with Israel then I am not with you"
and left the event without finishing his speech.
