2. No doubt, self-defense by Jews needs to be organized.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.28.18)
Mr. Shai Attias is on the mark in his reporting, but I would question the opinion that people from Israel need to become involved in the US. Anti-Semites in America need to know that the locals are fighting them off. What happened in Pittsburgh was an isolated local event, which the locals need to understand and become prepared for a defense. Where is the JDL?

Unfortunately US Jews, generally speaking, have been on the forefront of the movement to weaken, degrade and redefine the intent of the 2nd Amendment, whose sole purpose is to allow US citizens the right to defend themselves with firearms. This amendment is the greatest civil right ever bestowed upon a citizenry, anytime, anywhere. The US Jews who engage in this behavior should be ashamed of themselves. And on a long enough timeline, with past as prologue, Jews who engage in this advocacy will likely find themselves heading for a slaughter. Pittsburgh is what happens when people place their physical security in the hands of someone else. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

The Massacre would have been much worse. Obama/Clinton would not allow police enforcement to protect lives by acquiring the weapons they needed.

Trump allowed Law enforcement, FBI and CIA and Home Land Security to have the weapons to deal with this kind of terror. CNN and many Liberals have no clue how dangerous the US has become. Democrates are blaming Trump - and that shows the hatred of Democrates. If anything the growing anti-Semitism in the US began with Obama/Hilliary. .

Obama took away Law Enforcement the right to carry weapons need to protect . Which means that terrorists have much better arsenal for attacks. Well Done Trump.

CNN shame on you.

i think the greater issue to day is the Jewish people are divided - the orthodox need to practice more ahavas yisroel - doesn't matter if you are furm - secular orthodox or reform - we are all one family we all want to do good and every soul is special and needed - the out pouring of condolences and love and support world wide prove all jews are am echad - we are connected - we feel pain when our brother and sister feel pain ;we want to put on tephilin when we havent done so in years - go to shull and speak to hashem - even though we are angry and upset with him- I shows since Pittsburgh- we all need to pull all our brother and sister closer to the law and halacha of yisroel- we cant affoprd to lose even one ; and it all all starts with one small step back to torah mitzvot and tefilliah - that what all jews feel when we are in trouble what do we do ? who do we turn to Hashem for help in hours of need? we daven and pray to the hashem - may ha-shem whach over all or us as he promised and he love us all frum and frei alike - baruch dayn ha emet for those tragically stolen from us all - one step at time -From South africa
