obviously she was going to do all the garbage she did:
she gained power and popularity from it.
its unrealistic to expect a politician not to do something that will benefit him or her.

rather, the underlying problem is that we create a system where she can benefit from these actions.
what is needed are:
1. strict laws that create large fines/expulsion from the kenneset etc for such activities
2. reworking the electoral system so that you cant get elected if you tick off the large majority of citizens (israeli parliamentary system allows you to get elected with only a small percentage of the vote)

if you want to get rid of the rats, don't leave garbage around for them to eat
