1. creepy area due to homeless junkies - avoid at night

While not as dangerous as Time Square of my youth in 1980s, TACBS is grotty and putrid. The Filipino and Ethiopian and Sudanese refugees add an exotic vibe to one who visits Israel frequently. Do they end up in TACBS because that is the only place they are safe at night from immigration and police? Homeless transients and druggies will be dumped there unless the numbers can be greatly reduced.... Not really anything worth buying either; far fewer stores then before. My late father always wanted to buy property in that area assuming it will be "cleaned up"....
2. a yidishe neshome

I think that the yiddish center there is the secret soul...
3. I always get lost in there

Was built intentionally to confuse people? Signs that point to nowhere, stairs that lead to empty corridors. One-way escalators. One stair that you use for changing one floor does not continue further. It is a Harry Potteresque station, where you need to know the right incantation to get you to your destination, or get eaten by some mutated frog lurking in the dark corridor behind the corner.
