1. If Gaza terrorists attack shoot.Shoot or arrest on West Bank
Sam ,   Montreal   (08.11.19)
It looks like Israeli politicians don't want any escalation.
2. Oh dear, that would mean we’d have to actually DO something?
(08.11.19)
3. The only way...
DSM ,   USA   (08.11.19)
Israel can only achieve a "lasting" peace by an overwhelming military victory over the radical Muslims threatening her existence. Peace talks and signed agreements will be short lived if history is to be believed.. A major problem for Israel is her politicians do not have the will to lead the country to victory as they are easily convinced by the UN and counties, who hate her, to stop prior to victory. If Bibi is not the answer, and he is not, who else is there ?
4. fishman is like yossi beilin
ray   (08.11.19)
fishman and beilin are peas in a pod whose advice is of no practical value on the ground. idf had to go in big in gaza in a smart tough way. it has not primarily because netanyahu shrinks from a ground invasion because he is scared. olmert was of the same mind.until has a no nonsense leader who can look at the battlefield with a dry eye, it will continue with its war of attrition on the backs of Israeli civilians.
5. The wake up call is to retake our lands we foolishly ceded
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.13.19)
The real wake up call is to end virtually all of Israel's most serious problems, at their source, by permanently retaking ALL our lands we foolishly ceded to our mortal "Palestinian" foes. This is the root cause of ALL the wars, terror, rockets and misery we suffer from Lebanon, Gaza and Judea and Samaria too.
6. amir peretz disconnected from reality
james   (08.13.19)
just like olmert screwed up managing the hezbollah war, peretz was out of his element and did not know what the hell to do. He now says he put nasrollah in his bunker.

Nasrollah showed peretz to be an empty suit in the war as winograd aptly proved. peretz never counselled olmert to launch 60000 troops in a ground invasion of bekaa from several directions in concert with brutal softening up and irregular force insertion. He did not employ land rockets on mass to disorient Lebanese. he did not order the dismantling of lebanese power and fuel grid.

he hopes the public will not remember his mistakes.he was a disaster in security.
