Israeli Police do not wish to endanger themselves .

It must be very hard, not just in Israel ,but in other countries too ,for the hard-streched police to patrol effectively in dangerous areas ,and police simply can not be everywhere all the time ,police generally respond to rather than prevent violent incidents and police also want to go home at the end of a hard day at work in one piece ,safe and sound. And police, not just in Israel but in every country in the world, are not paid enough to risk their lives.We need to appreciate the police and the difficult job they do .

Continue down the path of " an eye for an eye " and you will all end up blind.

Police in Israel ,and in London and in France and other places are simply afraid to patrol truly dangerous areas regularly ,and who can honestly blame them ?
