Gay-lesbian association cancels Tel Aviv pride parade
The Gay and Lesbian Association, together with the municipality of Tel Aviv, decided Thursday to cancel the pride parade scheduled for August in order to focus efforts on the International Gay Pride Parade to be held in Jerusalem.

“The world pride event in Jerusalem is a pinnacle for the gay community. We hope that this year the city will succeed in cooperation with the initiative instead of repeating its mistakes of past years,” Executive Director of the Jerusalem Open House Hagai Elad said. (Neta Sela)
