Ashkelon: Hundreds of residents arrive at scene of rocket attack
Hundreds of local Ashkelon residents arrived at the scene of a Qassam rocket attack in the Shimshon neighborhood of south Ashkelon. Some of them expressed rage against the government's limp-wristed approach for dealing with the Qassams.
Members of Ashkelon's City Council earlier held a special meeting following the Qassam attack. During the session, members debated whether it was right to operate the Red Dawn rocket alert system as is standard practice in Sderot. (Shmulik Hadad)
