Four Qassam rockets were fired from the northern Gaza Strip Thursday evening, landing in open areas in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
Throughout the day, Sderot residents reported hearing a large number of blasts which caused panic, mainly among school children in the area.
One of the residents said, "There is a feeling that something unclear is going on, because also when Qassam rockets landed we didn’t know if they were rockets or blasts. No one is giving us updated information."
Qassams were last fired at the area three days ago, when two rockets were fired from the northern Gaza Strip towards Sderot. The rockets landed in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council. There were no injuries in that incident as well.
