Workers sifting materials from a ground zero access road have discovered nine potential human
remains, the medical examiner's office said Friday.
The discovery on Thursday followed Wednesday's news that 27 human remains had been recovered at the Brooklyn "sifting site," said spokeswoman Ellen Borakove. Since last week, the medical examiner's office has positively identified the remains of six people, including an Australian and a New Yorker names were released with their families' permission. (AP)
