World cannot allow a nuclear Iran, says Peres

Vice Premier Shimon Peres met with Singaporean Foreign Minister George Yeo who is currently visiting Israel. Peres told Yeo that "the world cannot dangerous nuclear weapons to reach the hands of an extremist fanatic leader such as Ahmadinejad. I believe that international pressure and sanctions will stop Iran but we need a strong, unified coalition for that."

"I believe that the free world, headed by the United States, would rather use sanctions than military means," Peres added. In the meeting, the two decided on economic cooperation in the fields of nanotechnology and water. (Ronny Sofer)
