MK Sa'ar: Transfer of weapons to PA "irresponsible"
Likud faction chairman, MK Gideon Sa'ar, slammed the decision to allow the transfer of 3,000 rifled to Palestinian security forces in Jericho.
"This is an irresponsible move by Olmert, based on complete denial of past lessons. Fatah groups in Judea and Samaria are not lacking any weapons. Past experience teaches us that these guns will be turned on the citizens of Israel and IDF soldiers in the future," said Sa'ar. (Amnon Meranda)
