Jordanian king hails upcoming Mideast peace conference as 'positive step'
Jordan's King Abdullah said in an interview with Jordanian television that the upcoming peace conference  initiated by US President George W. Bush is "a positive step towards peace in the Middle East."


"The separation between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank is not acceptable to the Palestinians or the Arab nations. Recognizing the Palestinian nation will serve to benefit Israel as well," Abdullah added. (AFP)
