Peace Now: Right-wing protest similar to Hamas demonstration

Yariv Oppenheimer, secretary-general of Peace Now, criticized the participants of a right-wing demonstration against the US-hosted Annapolis peace conference set to begin Tuesday.

"The Right's protest in front of the Western Wall and the prime minister's residence in Jerusalem are similar to the demonstrations by Hamas and other opponents of the conference in Gaza and Iran. They both use religion to preach against the possibility to reach a peace accord between the parties." (Efrat Weiss)
