A coalition agreement between Shas and the Likud may still not be a certainty: Sources in the ultra-Orthodox party told Ynet Thursday that the coalition negotiations between the two have hit several snags.
Shas Chairman Eli Yishai expressed his hopes that the parties would be able to exchange coalition drafts over the course of next week, adding that "not all of the disputed issues have been discussed."

"We will probably exchange our first drafts for the coalition agreement next week, but we have yet to reach any understanding," said Yishai.
"On the subject of civil marriage, we made it absolutely clear that we will not stand for any solution outside of the Halacha or one which is not sanctioned by the Chief Rabbinate.
"The matter of portfolios has not been discussed either," he added. "When the time comes we will demand offices which will allow us to help the public, such as the Interior Ministry, the Construction and Housing Ministry, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Health Ministry," he concluded.
