Iraq: 2 killed, 6 hurt in attacks near Baghdad
Two people were killed and six others were injured in two separate incidents near Baghdad, Iraq.
In the first incident two bodyguards of the leader of a faction that is battling al-Qaeda were shot to death, while the leader himself was wounded. In the second incident, five people were injured when a motorcycle laden with explosives was detonated near a police convoy in Fallujah. (AFP)
