A young Israeli, 26-year-old Idan Nachum from Dimona, died during a rave party in a central Italian town, the Italian media reported Sunday. Authorities believe that he died of a drug overdose.
The Foreign Ministry said it has yet to receive any report on the matter.
According to the Italian news agency ANSA, the Nachum felt unwell during a party in the town of Boca della Selva in the Molise region in central Italy.
Nachum's friends evacuated him to the hospital in the neighboring city of Campobasso, but local doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The website of Italian newspaper Corriera della Sera reported that the paramedics had problems communicating with Nachum's friends, who spoke no Italian.
Two other Israelis who attended the party have apparently also been evacuated to a nearby hospital after using drugs.
