Tel Baruch beach lynch suspect reenacts assault

One of eight suspects in brutal slaying of 59-year-old Leonard Karp brought back to beachfront for reenactment. Move may be police attempt to pressure other suspects

One of the eight suspects in the brutal murder of 59-year-old Leonard (Arik) Karp, which took place Friday night at the Tel Baruch beach, was brought to the scene of the crime Monday for a reenactment.

The reenactment was the first time any of the suspects offered their version of the event to the police. The number of suspects in the case make its difficult to determine whether the reenactment was genuine, or an interrogation ploy by the Yarkon Subdistrict Police, meant to pressure the other seven suspects.
