Tibi meets with Carter, appeals for assistance to Israeli Arabs
Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi met with former US President Jimmy Carter and handed him a document addressed to US President Barack Obama, detailing the condition of the Arab minority in Israel.

In the letter Tibi asked to allocate 20% of American support funds to Israel for the Arab citizens. "The discrimination against Arabs in Israel is institutionalized and the time has come that everyone, including President Obama would pay attention to the state of the Arab minority being discriminated against," Tibi wrote.
