Jewish house from time of Jesus found in Nazareth

An archeological dig conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority near the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth revealed the ruins of a resident home from the time of early Rome.

"This finding is of supreme importance because it reveals for the first time a home from the Jewish village of Nazareth, and thereby sheds light on the lifestyle in the time of Jesus," said Yardena Alexander, who is in charge of the dig. (Avital Lahav)
